About the Role

Breakwater Capital Markets is seeking an outstanding Associate to join its practice group. The Associate will play an integral role in developing and delivering strong marketing content that elevates Breakwater Capital Markets’ brand across several channels and mediums. This role will help articulate the Breakwater Capital Markets value proposition and strengthen how the firm is understood by prospective global clients.

Candidate Profile

This position is designed for a high-achieving early-career professional with 1-2 years of relevant internship or work experience and a strong interest in capital markets and marketing.

The ideal candidate brings a record of excellence, strong analytical horsepower, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to develop marketing strategies and communicate with clarity and polish. They are intellectually curious, execution-oriented, and energized by working on sophisticated client challenges where precision, discretion, and sound judgment are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop primary marketing content for different formats, including but not limited to presentations, social posts and ads, videos, and proposals.
• Be accountable for the Breakwater Capital Markets social channels and Web Page development and execution.
• Manage social media campaigns.
• Assist with business development efforts, including market research, proposal drafting, and pitch preparation.
• Prepare high-quality presentations and client materials that communicate insights with clarity, rigor, and executive-level polish.
• Coordinate with external research vendors and partners to support seamless project execution and quality control.
• Partner with colleagues across the firm to support integrated advisory engagements.
• Travel periodically in support of client engagements or research initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, plus 1-2 years of relevant internship/work experience.
• Outstanding analytical and organizational capabilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce polished, client-ready work.
• Professional maturity, intellectual curiosity, and a demonstrated capacity to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Exposure to qualitative and quantitative research methods preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic level of knowledge using creative software such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.
• Familiarity with research, analytics, or visualization tools is advantageous.
