Job Description

As a Software Developer at Bornwest, you will be joining our India engineering team to work on both backend (Ruby on Rails) and frontend (JavaScript / React) technologies, building real features for our customers right from the start.

*Key Responsibilities:**
Build and ship features across our product using Ruby on Rails and JavaScript/React
Write clean, readable, and well-tested code
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into software
Debug and troubleshoot issues independently
Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions
Learn continuously from our codebase and grow professionally
*Qualifications Required:**
Fresh graduate or 2 years of professional experience in software development
Background in B.Tech / BCA / B.Sc (Computer Science, IT, ECE, or related field)
Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms
Familiarity with backend or frontend languages such as Ruby, Python, JavaScript, or Java
Knowledge of web fundamentals including HTTP, APIs, and databases
Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases
Proficiency in Git for version control
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
*Nice to Have:**
Previous experience with Ruby on Rails, React, or other modern JavaScript frameworks
Involvement in deployed projects like open-source contributions, hackathons, or internships
Familiarity with agile workflows
