Job Title: Journalist Anchor

Job Summary

Will be responsible for researching, writing, and presenting content, news, articles, and stories through our Apps and other Digital platforms. The role involves gathering information, interviewing sources, verifying facts, and delivering podcasts, articles, news, and stories in a clear, engaging, and professional manner while maintaining journalistic integrity and ethics.

Key Responsibilities

· Present live or recorded Podcasts, bulletins, news, special segments, interviews, and events.

· Research, write, and edit articles, content, and scripts for broadcast on our App and digital platforms.

· Conduct interviews with people, newsmakers, experts, and field reporters.

· Stay updated with current affairs, politics, economy, society, and social issues.

· Verify facts and ensure accuracy, credibility, and ethical journalism.

· Anchoring podcasts, interviews, Chat sessions, News, and content delivery.

· Collaborate with producers, reporters, editors, and camera teams.

· Moderate debates, panel discussions, special events, and programs.

· Engage audiences through clear communication and confident presentation on digital platforms.

· Follow guidelines of journalistic standards.

Required Skills

· Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills

· Excellent fluency with English in verbal and written forms and other bilingual or multilingual languages

· Strong article judgment and storytelling ability

· Strong research and fact-checking skills for articles/content

· Confident with experience in on-camera presence

· Good interviewing and podcast skills

· Knowledge of media laws and ethics

· Ability to work under tight deadlines, adhering to broadcast timelines

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, and Media Studies

· 2–5 years of experience in anchoring, content, and storytelling, broadcasting on various digital platforms

· Experience with digital news or television platforms is preferred

· Experience with studios, newsrooms, or on-field reporting locations

· Strong on-camera presenting & anchoring experience

Preferred Qualifications

· Bilingual or multilingual anchoring and on-camera presentation skills

· Experience with Anchoring, live reporting, or field journalism

· Familiarity with teleprompter systems and digital media software applications
