Job Title: Indian Chef

Location: GOA

Department: Kitchen / F&B

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Chef to prepare authentic Indian cuisine while maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene. The candidate should have strong knowledge of North and/or South Indian dishes and be able to manage kitchen operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes (North Indian / South Indian as per requirement)
  • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of food
  • Plan menus and suggest new dishes as per customer preferences
  • Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards as per hotel policies
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the purchase team for ingredients
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff
  • Ensure proper food storage and minimize wastage
  • Follow all safety and food regulations

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Indian Chef in a hotel or restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, spices, and cooking techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good team management and communication skills
  • Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 3–7 years of relevant experience

Salary:

  • As per industry standards

Note:

Candidate should be flexible with shifts and willing to relocate if required.
