About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Inventory Planning Analyst to join our planning team. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with Sourcing, Operations, and Retail Operations to ensure smooth purchase order execution, timely inwards, and effective inventory allocation across retail channels. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to build a foundation in supply chain and retail planning.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & PO Management

• Collaborate with the Sourcing team to support timely release of purchase orders in line with planning requirements
• Track and follow up on inward schedules, ensuring shipments are received on time and discrepancies are flagged promptly
• Maintain accurate PO records and update planning systems with inward status

Retail Inventory Allocation

• Work closely with Operations and Retail Operations teams to plan and execute inventory allocation across retail locations
• Analyse stock levels, sales trends, and store requirements to recommend optimal allocation quantities
• Support replenishment planning to minimise stockouts and overstock situations

Planning Projects & Reporting

• Assist in ongoing and ad-hoc planning projects related to inventory optimisation, assortment planning, or process improvement
• Prepare regular reports and dashboards tracking key inventory metrics
• Identify gaps or inefficiencies in current planning processes and escalate with suggested solutions

What We're Looking For

• 0–2 years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain, retail operations, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with planning tools or ERP systems is a plus
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working across multiple teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

Nice to Have

• Exposure to retail or e commerce environments
• Familiarity with inventory management systems or demand planning
• Basic understanding of merchandising or buying processes
