DAY TIME Security Guards

Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activity, enforcing security protocols, and maintaining a secure environment through proactive monitoring and loss prevention measures. This role is vital in safeguarding our organization against theft, vandalism, and other security threats.

1. Job title: Full-time static guard for warehouse (This site requires a car)

2. Location: Downtown Vancouver (8 pm to 7 am - 7 days/week, 24 hours for the weekend)

3. Must have a reliable car for work

4. Must possess a security license and OFA 1 certificate

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the property to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and managing visitor logs.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
• Maintain detailed incident reports and document any security-related occurrences accurately.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism activities.
• Ensure all security protocols are followed consistently to uphold safety standards.
