Job Description

As a Product Manager at BlackRock, you will be a part of the Aladdin Product Management team, working at the intersection of business and technology. Your role involves collaborating with developers, researchers, designers, and clients to innovate, conceptualize, design, and pilot new capabilities across the investment lifecycle. You will have a positive impact on developing the product vision and owning the execution of the roadmap. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building technical solutions in partnership with Engineering teams and Clients
  • Solving complex problems to deepen our understanding of end users
  • Learning new skills and embracing work outside of your comfort zone
  • Challenging the status quo and creating new solutions with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Working in a fast-paced environment and being results-oriented & metrics-driven
  • Fostering a purpose-driven culture and working horizontally to break down silos

Qualifications required for this role include:

  • 3+ years of experience in Product Management/Business Analysis, including building and launching technology
  • Experience working in Investment Management/Financial Services/FinTech organizations, preferably in Post Trade, Investment Operations, or Middle Office domains
  • Knowledge of the trade lifecycle, with a focus on derivatives, is highly desirable
  • Ability to apply PDLC best practices, develop roadmaps, define detailed product requirements, create user journey workflows, and provide updates on deliverables
  • Managing key agile development rituals with Engineers, Designers, and Stakeholders
  • Interacting with product users and clients, preparing demonstrations, and leading user training
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with data analysis skills and SQL experience being a plus
