Job Description
TITLE: Program Budget Analyst
CLEARANCE: Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
LOCATION: Mark Center - Alexandria, VA
Required Skills and Relevant Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience with the DoD’s Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution process.
- Experience with the DoD’s Program Objective Memorandum cycle, budget estimate process and the President’s budget process.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with managing financial programs, projects or budgets.
- Minimum 5 years of experience using communication skills, both written and oral, to include conducting research and preparing written products to present information.
Required Education and Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in any field of study.
Preferred Skills and Relevant Experience:
- Preferred certificate, degree or higher-level education to be in business, finance or accounting discipline.
- Experience as a Contract Officer Representative.
- Experience with OSD CAPE (cost assessment and program evaluation) processes.
- Experience with DoD Force Management.
- Experience with the DoD Defense Agencies Initiative.
- Experience interacting at the most senior levels of the DoD staff and Interagency (Offices of the
- Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, Services, and Combatant Commands) (general officer/flag officer/senior executive service level)
- Knowledge of or experience with OIE related field(s).
