Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Sherwood Park clinic, providing direct patient care, treatment planning, and medical oversight within our hormone therapy and medical wellness programs.

This role includes supporting women's intimate health services, including consultations and treatment planning for Emsella Chair and MonaLisa Touch® vaginal rejuvenation treatments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background or interest in gynecology, women's health, hormone therapy, and preventative wellness care.

You will work alongside a dedicated medical team, leading clinical decision-making, creating individualized treatment plans, and ensuring safe, effective, and evidence-based care. This role is ideal for an NP who values autonomy, structure, and practicing at the top of their scope in a focused specialty.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct medical assessments and review patient histories, labs, and risk factors
• Determine clinical appropriateness of care and adjust plans as needed
• Provide ongoing medical oversight throughout the patient journey
• Conduct scheduled medical review appointments
• Address questions, concerns, and clinical considerations
• Document all encounters clearly and thoroughly in Telus CHR
• Prescribe and authorize medications within scope
• Ensure prescriptions are clinically appropriate and compliant with regulatory protocols
• Approve and dispatch prescriptions according to clinic protocols
• Conduct consultations related to women's vaginal health and wellness concerns
• Assess and educate patients regarding Emsella Chair and MonaLisa Touch® vaginal rejuvenation treatments.
• Develop individualized treatment recommendations for women's intimate health concerns, including urinary incontinence, vaginal dryness, pelvic floor dysfunction, sexual wellness, and menopause-related symptoms.
• Work collaboratively with the medical team to support exceptional patient care.
• Provide clinical guidance and direction within the care team.
• Escalate complex or high-risk cases appropriately.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical workflows and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Alberta
• Experience or a strong interest in hormone therapy, women's health, gynecology, or medical wellness.
• Experience assessing and treating women's intimate health concerns.
• Comfortable providing consultations for Emsella Chair and MonaLisa Touch® vaginal rejuvenation treatments.
• Previous experience in gynecology, menopause management, pelvic health, sexual health, vaginal health, or women's intimate wellness is considered a strong asset.
• Strong understanding of hormone replacement therapy, menopause management, and women's wellness programs.
• Confident clinical judgment and strong documentation skills.
• Ability to manage real-time schedules and patient needs efficiently.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while practicing independently within scope.
• Passion for providing compassionate, evidence-based care.

What We Offer

• Full-time or part-time opportunities available (minimum 3 days per week).
• Flexible scheduling with shifts available between:
• Tuesday–Friday: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM / 11:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Competitive compensation of CA$125.00–CA$150.00 per hour.
