Role Description

We are seeking a Key Account Manager specializing in Motor Insurance for a full-time, on-site position located in Kolkata. The role involves acquiring and managing relationships with key partners, developing business strategies, overseeing account performance, and delivering customized solutions for Motor Insurance vertical. Responsibilities include cultivating client relationships, executing business plans, ensuring exceptional customer service, and addressing key accounts' insurance needs to ensure high satisfaction and retention.

  • Strong expertise in Key Accounts and Partner Management
  • Proficiency in Business Planning and the ability to develop and execute effective strategies
  • Applied knowledge in Customer Service to foster trust and satisfaction
  • Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate client portfolios and optimize insurance solutions
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Previous experience in the insurance or financial services industry is beneficial
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Insurance, or a related field

Primary Objective

Identify, onboard, activate and grow a portfolio of 15–20 premium motor insurance distributors

Core KRAs

1. Partner Acquisition: 12 long-term partners in first 90 days

2. Partner Activation Rate: 80%+ of signed partners active within 30 days

3. Monthly Brokerage Target: As per specified guidelines

4. Partner Retention: Avoid involuntary churn in first 6 months

5. Monthly Business Review: Conduct MBR with every partner (documented)

6. Inner Circle Nominations: At least 3 partners achieving Inner Circle (Partner specific recognition program) in 6 months

Compensation

A. Fixed CTC: Rs 8 Lacs to 15 Lacs per annum (with no restrictions for suitable candidate)

B. Monthly/Quarterly Performance Bonus

C. Annual Bonus

D. Long-term Incentive Plan

Travel Allowance: As per Company Policy

Ideal Profile

a. 5+ years in insurance distribution/broking, preferably motor segment

b. Strong regional network: knows the key dealers, brokers, DSAs in the geography

c. Comfortable with digital tools, dashboards, WhatsApp-led communication

d. Aspiring and urge to create a differentiated new distribution channel
