Licensed Insurance Broker (P&C - Commission Only)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Insurance Broker (RIBO Licensed) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for advising clients on insurance options, developing new business through outside sales, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, along with the ability to analyze client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions. Bilingual abilities, especially in Hindi, Urdu or Bengali, are highly valued to serve a diverse client base effectively. The Insurance Broker will play a vital role in expanding our market presence and ensuring client satisfaction through tailored insurance products.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business through outside sales efforts, including retail sales and telemarketing campaigns
• Assess clients’ insurance needs by analyzing their financial situations and risk profiles
• Present and explain various insurance policies to clients, highlighting benefits and coverage options
• Negotiate policy terms and prices with clients to secure optimal agreements for both parties
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction and retention
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay informed about industry trends
• Manage sales administration tasks, including documentation, policy processing, and follow-up communications
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering personalized insurance advice
• Utilize marketing strategies to promote insurance products effectively in target markets
• Collaborate with underwriters and insurers to facilitate policy issuance and claims processing as needed

Skills

• Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance or related industries
• Strong analysis skills to evaluate client needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Negotiation skills to close deals effectively while maintaining positive client relationships
• Multilingual abilities, especially fluency in Spanish, to serve diverse customer demographics
• Customer service orientation with a focus on building trust and long-term relationships
• Knowledge of insurance sales processes, marketing techniques, and sales administration tools
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

THIS IS A COMMISSION ONLY POSITION

Pay: $65,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
