OPD STAFF NURSE (3–4 Years Experience) (India)

We are looking for an experienced OPD Nurse with 3–4 years of clinical experience to manage outpatient services efficiently, assist doctors, and ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care

• Assess patients’ condition (vitals, symptoms, medical history)
• Assist doctors during consultations and minor procedures
• Administer medications, injections, and dressings as prescribed
• Provide first aid and emergency support if required

OPD Coordination

• Manage patient flow and appointments
• Prepare patients for examinations
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of consultation rooms

Documentation

• Maintain accurate patient records and reports
• Update electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Handle prescriptions and follow-up instructions

Patient Interaction

• Educate patients about medications, diet, and lifestyle
• Guide patients on follow-up visits or diagnostic tests
• Address patient concerns politely and professionally

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.Sc. in Nursing
• Registered Nurse (RN) certification (as per local nursing council)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred)

• Basic clinical and diagnostic knowledge
• Time management and multitasking ability
• Familiarity with hospital software/records systems
• Empathy and patient-centered approach
