Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription and non-prescription medicines accurately while following established safety and quality standards
- Verify prescriptions for dosage accuracy, drug interactions, contraindications, and authenticity before dispensing
- Provide customers with clear guidance on medication usage, dosage schedules, precautions, side effects, and storage requirements
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements related to pharmacy operations
- Maintain accurate documentation, billing records, prescription logs, and inventory reports
- Monitor stock availability, storage conditions, replenishment cycles, and expiry management to ensure uninterrupted operations
- Coordinate with doctors and healthcare professionals to clarify prescriptions or medication-related concerns when required
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing queries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and operational discipline within the pharmacy
- Participate in healthcare initiatives, awareness programs, vaccination drives, and patient wellness activities
Qualifications & Experience
- D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution
- Registered Pharmacist with the State Pharmacy Council
- Freshers as well as candidates with up to 5 years of experience may apply
- Experience in retail pharmacy or healthcare operations will be an added advantage
