Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Bengaluru. The Junior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial records, handle accounts reconciliation, and ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional accounting policies. Responsibilities also include preparing financial statements, tracking budgets, invoicing, and providing support for audits. The role will involve working collaboratively with the finance team and may include interaction with other departments to ensure efficient financial management.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and accounts reconciliation
• Proficiency in using accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or QuickBooks
• Attention to detail, data analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prepare financial reports, budgets, and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in educational or institutional financial processes is a plus
