Job Description

Our client is looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist (Marketo & Lifecycle) with 8–10+ years of experience in email and lifecycle marketing. The ideal candidate will own and execute scalable nurture programs, segmentation strategies, and performance-driven campaigns using Marketo. This role requires a strong collaborator who can partner cross-functionally, optimize campaign performance, and mentor junior team members.

Job Brief:

  • Help own and execute client’s email marketing and lifecycle strategy using Marketo
  • Build, manage, and optimize nurture programs, trigger-based campaigns, and batch email sends
  • Develop segmentation strategies to support personalization and audience targeting
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate campaign requirements into scalable Marketo programs
  • Ensure high-quality execution of email campaigns including QA, testing, and deployment
  • Analyze email and lifecycle performance to identify optimization opportunities
  • Mentor junior team members and promote operational excellence

Responsibilities

  • 8–10+ years in Marketing Operations, Email Marketing, or Lifecycle Marketing roles
  • Deep hands-on expertise in Marketo (Adobe Marketo Engage)
  • Proven experience building and scaling email nurture programs and lifecycle campaigns
  • Strong understanding of segmentation, personalization, and engagement strategies
  • Experience diagnosing lifecycle gaps, scoring issues, and campaign performance challenges

Requirements

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of Marketo program architecture, smart campaigns, tokens, and segmentation
  • Strong understanding of email deliverability, testing, and performance optimization
  • Familiarity with Salesforce for campaign visibility and reporting

Analytical & Strategic Skills:

  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable improvements
  • Experience with funnel metrics, engagement scoring, and lifecycle reporting
  • Ability to identify systemic issues and implement scalable solutions

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, RevOps, and Sales teams
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead projects and influence without direct authority

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B SaaS or high-growth technology environments
  • Familiarity with tools such as 6sense and Salesforce
  • Experience supporting global lifecycle programs and regional campaign nuances
