We are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Junior Accounting Clerk to join our Finance team. This entry‑level role is ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in accounting and develop their career within a dynamic, supportive environment. The successful candidate will assist with daily accounting tasks, data entry, and financial record maintenance.

Key responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Perform accurate data entry for invoices, receipts, and financial transactions
• Prepare miscellaneous billings
• Assist with trust, accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts
• Maintain organized financial files and documentation
• Support senior accounting staff with monthly reports
• Provide backup support for other team members
• Perform other administrative and accounting tasks as needed

The ideal candidates will:

• Have at least 3 years of accounts receivable and collections experience;
• Experience in a legal accounting environment is strongly preferred;
• Have an accounting certificate/diploma;
• Have working knowledge of general accounting procedures and guidelines;
• Have strong analytical skills and have an extremely high attention to detail;
• Be flexible, time conscious and deadline oriented;
• Have demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and is highly organized;
• Have considered themselves consummate professionals who work well under pressure;
• Have an ongoing commitment to learning and can adapt to change;
• Be capable of working very closely with a department, but is also capable of working well independently.

The anticipated base annual salary range for this position is $58,000.00 to $70,000.00. This range represents the anticipated compensation for the position in compliance with Ontario’s pay transparency requirements. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may fall above or below this range, depending on factors such as relevant experience, demonstrated skills, market conditions, and internal equity. Final compensation will be confirmed upon completion of the recruitment process.
