WHAT WE NEED

Bopat Electric is hiring experienced Journeyman Service Electricians to troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and install commercial electrical systems.

This position is ideal for a Journeyman Electrician who enjoys troubleshooting, solving complex electrical issues, working directly with customers, and performing a variety of service, maintenance, and installation work in commercial and industrial environments.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial electrical systems and equipment
• Install, repair, and replace electrical equipment, panels, breakers, lighting, controls, switchgear, and power distribution systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and one-line diagrams
• Perform commercial electrical service work while identifying issues and recommending effective solutions
• Follow all safety regulations, NEC standards, and company guidelines
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members while completing service calls efficiently and safely

WHAT YOU BRING

• Active Maryland Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent Journeyman License from a reciprocating state
• 5+ years of commercial electrical experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience servicing, repairing, and installing commercial electrical systems
• Knowledge of conduit, switchgear, panelboards, power distribution, lighting, motor controls, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and one-line diagrams
• Strong understanding of NEC requirements and electrical safety practices
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Valid driver's license

Compensation ranges may vary based on individual experience. Final offers may differ from the posted range depending on a candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and the specific role offered.

Compensation Range: $34 USD - $42 USD
