Job Description

As a SQL Database Administrator at BCE Global Tech, your role involves managing and optimizing the database systems to ensure integrity, security, and performance. You will support business operations and development teams in Bengaluru, India. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Server Management for EOM and BCOM, including restarts and health checks
  • Working with components such as OSM, SOA, Internal PRM, BBP/GetAccess, and OneView
  • Implementing SSO principles and troubleshooting
  • Managing Active Directory and analytics
  • Following DR best practices and monitoring log levels
  • Setting up and maintaining monitoring and alerts
  • Collaborating with the APM team as required
  • Handling memory management and disk space increase
  • Implementing Load Balancing and Firewall requests
  • Investigating and troubleshooting performance issues
  • Providing guidance on application performance to network teams
  • Managing OS installations and upgrades for Windows and RHEL
  • Overseeing software management at the app server level

Moreover, you will be involved in:

  • EOM Infra tasks such as branch creation, data securitization, and vulnerability remediation
  • Regular patching program management for Windows and RHEL
  • Ensuring SoX compliance and supporting server management activities
  • Maintaining procedures, server inventories, and architecture diagrams
  • Being available for non-standard business hours during production issues and maintenance/release requirements
  • Contributing to development/delivery agility via DevSecOps pipeline

Qualifications Required:

  • Extensive experience managing infrastructure for large CRM and order management applications in Telco industry
  • Proficiency in Apache, Tomcat, and IIS architecture
  • Experience with managing RHEL and Windows OS servers, ESX/Hyper-v cluster setup
  • Knowledge of application server requirements, application performance monitoring, and issue analysis
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, Active Directory, Single Sign On architecture, Jira/Confluence
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Git, GitLab, databases like Oracle and Linux
  • Working knowledge of Monitoring tools like DynaTrace, ELK, and Agile methodologies
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and cloud-based architectures
