Role Overview:
As the Director of Growth Marketing at Basis Vectors, you will play a crucial role in leading demand generation for a select group of portfolio companies specializing in B2B SaaS. Your primary focus will be on designing and executing full-funnel marketing strategies to drive high-quality pipeline for sales. This role requires a strategic and data-driven approach, balancing high-level planning with hands-on execution. You will lead a small marketing team and collaborate closely with other departments to bring your strategies to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business objectives and marketing priorities into effective demand generation strategies and integrated multichannel campaign plans.
- Design, execute, and optimize demand generation campaigns targeted at B2B technology buyers using various channels such as digital, ABM, SEO, webinars, and content marketing.
- Utilize product positioning, persona research, market insights, and intent data to align campaign messaging with optimal channels and buying stages.
- Manage the marketing funnel from top to bottom, optimizing conversion rates and driving qualified pipeline growth.
- Collaborate with sales to ensure lead scoring, qualification criteria, and seamless handoff processes are aligned.
- Develop compelling content tailored to Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) to address their unique needs and pain points.
- Oversee executional details, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and cross-functional coordination.
- Utilize data and analytics to measure campaign performance, communicate results, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization.
- Lead and mentor a small team of marketers and BDRs while working closely with the centralized marketing team.
- Improve operational processes to streamline campaign production and increase efficiency.
- Maintain close communication with stakeholders across marketing, sales, product, content, enablement, and operations.
Qualifications Required:
- 10 years of experience in B2B technology marketing, with at least 4 years working with US-based B2B technology companies.
- Strong strategic leadership skills with the ability to develop high-level marketing plans and execute them effectively.
- Data-driven and results-oriented mindset with a successful track record of driving demand and pipeline growth.
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities, comfortable working across various teams within the organization.
- Creative problem-solving skills to implement innovative demand generation strategies.
