The Project Leader supports the Canadian Crop and Seed Treatment business by leading cross‑functional product initiatives that deliver new and updated products to market on time. The role ensures product stewardship, innovation, and sustainability are embedded throughout the development and change process. Responsibilities include initiating and managing change requests, maintaining project records, driving continuous improvement through lessons learned, leading project planning and execution, and representing Canadian Operations in Regional Product Launch Excellence activities.

- Providing interface and coordination with the business as functional team lead for the Product Launch Excellence process, interfacing with R&D, Regulatory, Marketing, Supply Chain, Product Stewardship and Manufacturing sites.
- In collaboration with the launch manager, Creating Gantt charts, assigning tasks to members in Azure DevOps, scheduling meetings in Outlook, properly preparing for launch meetings, updating meeting notes and distributing to members, per operational readiness team launch framework, to complete project on time and according to goals.
- Completing or participating in pre-ORT activities as defined by Product Launch Manager.
- Ensuring packaging specs for new packages or changes to existing packaging or labeling is created and communicated to the appropriate people.
- Ensuring all logo/artwork/ label and carton text are developed according to the provided die lines/specs and planned deadlines.
- Ensuring that all aspects of master data are complete for all articles within the process.
- Ensuring that all UN certification is managed and maintained with Transport Canada.
- Complete lessons learned, develop improvement plans and ensure execution. Improve overall launch processes.
If you have...
- A bachelor’s degree, with 8 years in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related business experience.
- Project management skills as they are critical to the success of this role.
- Intermediate knowledge MS teams, SAP, Power BI, Project Professional.
- Analytical, problem solving, communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with teams to enable project completion, with competing priorities and uncertainties, in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead cross functional discussions driving solutions of complex problems.
- Ability to identify interdependencies of tasks, define proper workflows, priorities, create Gantt charts, keep the pulse, escalate issues, and close the projects.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to follow through, as they are essential to ensure that operations meet project deliverables and timeline.
