Boring Machine Operator (Boring Man)

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate horizontal/vertical boring machines for machining metal components.
• Read and understand engineering drawings and machining tolerances.
• Set up workpieces and align them accurately on the boring machine.
• Select appropriate tools, set boring depths, feeds, and speeds.
• Check dimensions of finished workpieces using precision measuring tools (vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, etc.).
• Perform minor machine maintenance and keep the machine clean.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure high-quality output.
• Work with castings, shafts, bushes, bores, and large fabricated components.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in operating boring machines.
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings accurately.
• Skilled in internal boring, facing, and drilling operations.
• ITI/Diploma in Machinist/Fitter/Turner trades preferred.
• Knowledge of job setups and tolerance control.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
