ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our growing content team. In this role, you will take raw footage and transform it into compelling, polished video content for social media, digital campaigns, and brand storytelling. The ideal candidate blends technical proficiency in industry-standard tools with a modern understanding of AI-assisted production workflows.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
▸ Edit raw footage into high-quality, platform-optimised videos for social media, YouTube, websites, and digital campaigns
▸ Perform professional audio editing, sound mixing, and noise reduction to deliver broadcast-ready audio
▸ Design and integrate motion graphics, animated transitions, and visual effects to enhance storytelling
▸ Apply colour grading and colour correction to maintain visual consistency across projects
▸ Leverage AI-powered tools (e.g. Adobe Firefly, Runway ML, CapCut AI, ElevenLabs) to accelerate editing workflows and generate creative assets
▸ Use AI upscaling, background removal, and auto-captioning tools to improve production efficiency
▸ Collaborate closely with videographers, content strategists, and the creative team to align on project goals and brand voice
▸ Manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently deliver final edits within deadlines
▸ Maintain organised project files, asset libraries, and version control
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
▸ Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Multimedia, Graphic Design, Film Production, or a related field
▸ 3+ years of hands-on experience in professional video and audio editing
▸ Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop
▸ Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and narrative structure
▸ Working knowledge of AI-assisted editing tools such as Adobe Firefly, Runway ML, Topaz Video AI, or equivalent
▸ Familiarity with AI audio tools such as Adobe Podcast (Enhance Speech), ElevenLabs, or Descript for clean audio production
▸ Solid grasp of export settings and delivery specifications across platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
▸ Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent brand aesthetics
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
▸ Proven experience with advanced colour grading using DaVinci Resolve or Lumetri Color
▸ Sound design experience — creating or sourcing music beds, SFX, and ambient audio
▸ Proficiency with AI video generation tools such as Runway Gen-3, Pika, or Sora (experimental)
▸ Experience using AI scriptwriting or storyboarding assistants (e.g. ChatGPT, Notion AI) to accelerate pre-production
▸ Knowledge of basic motion graphics principles and typography animation in After Effects
▸ Portfolio demonstrating a range of content — short-form reels, long-form edits, brand films
▸ Familiarity with YouTube SEO, thumbnail design, and platform-specific content best practices
