Manages resourcing, workload planning, and performance to ensure service standards and business objectives are met. Conducts performance and development discussions, addresses performance or conduct issues as required, and fosters an inclusive, collaborative, and accountable team environment aligned with BMO values and risk culture. Identifies, assesses, and acts on opportunities to strengthen and expand business relationships. Serves as a first point of escalation for distributors and brokers complaints, independently managing and resolving complex inquiries related to insurance products and services. Develops recommendations and solutions grounded in a strong understanding of business strategy, operational priorities, and stakeholder needs. Provides advice and guidance to assigned business groups on the implementation of solutions and initiatives. Contributes to defining business priorities and sequencing activities to support execution of business strategies. Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve complex operational and strategic issues. Builds and maintains effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful outcomes. Decomposes complex problems, analyzes data and information, and delivers actionable insights and recommendations. Reviews operational performance data to identify trends and recommend process or service improvements. Leads or participates in change management initiatives of varying scope, including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder engagement, execution, evaluation, and sustainment. Leads or contributes to the development of communication strategies designed to support change, influence behaviours, and ensure consistent messaging across stakeholders and distribution channels. Oversees and manages unit workflows to ensure service commitments are met within established service standards. Acts as a subject matter expert on technical, product, and process matters to support business effectiveness and client satisfaction. Ensures operations are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Defines, implements, and maintains operating procedures to meet compliance obligations and industry standards. Identifies process, control, and service gaps and recommends improvements. Reviews documentation and ensures appropriate authorizations and adherence to established guidelines prior to completing or approving required transactions. Leads or participates in the design, implementation, and ongoing management of core business processes. Identifies business needs and contributes to the design, development, and delivery of tools and training programs to support operational effectiveness. Exercises sound judgment to identify, assess, and resolve issues within established frameworks. Works independently on a broad range of complex activities, including non‑standard situations. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required to support business objectives. Qualifications: Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience. In‐depth knowledge about products, process, policies and practices. Working understanding of policy contract wording & interpretation. Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience. Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth. Collaboration & team skills - In-depth. Salary: $56,000.00 - $103,500.00 Pay Type: Salaried The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position. BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
