Responsibilities

• Provide precise haircuts, beard trims, shaves using straight razors, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences.
• Perform advanced styling techniques including hair extensions, coloring based on color theory, and eyelash or nail care treatments.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools and workstations to ensure a safe environment.
• Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail transactions.
• Assist clients with product recommendations, upselling retail items like hair care products and makeup applications to enhance their look.
• Manage front desk duties including greeting clients, checking in appointments, and handling retail sales efficiently.
• Mentor junior team members in hair threading, styling techniques, and customer service excellence to foster a collaborative team atmosphere.

Skills

• Expertise in barbering techniques including straight razor shaves, hair styling, and the application of hair extensions.
• Strong knowledge of salon software systems like MINDBODY for scheduling and client management.
• Proficiency in color theory for effective hair coloring services and creative styling.
• Experience with sanitation protocols to ensure a hygienic workspace at all times.
