Role Description
This is a home-visit role for a Patient Care Assistant / Home Care Attendant in the Greater Delhi Area.
The attendant will support patients with daily living and personal care needs at home. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, fresh-up, toileting, adult diaper change, hygiene support, basic walking assistance, bed-to-chair transfer support, and general comfort care for elderly, bedridden, post-hospital, or recovering patients.
This is a non-clinical support role. The attendant will not give injections, IV fluids, medicines, wound dressing, catheter procedures, vaccination, or any medical treatment.
Qualifications
- Experience as a GDA, caregiver, patient care assistant, nursing assistant, ward attendant, elderly-care attendant, or home-care worker preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in patient care, elderly care, hospital ward support, nursing home support, or home care preferred.
- Comfortable assisting with bathing, toileting, adult diaper change, hygiene care, basic walking support, and mobility assistance.
- GDA / caregiver / home health aide / nursing assistant training preferred.
- Basic understanding of patient hygiene, infection control, privacy, dignity, and fall-safety precautions.
- Polite, patient, hygienic, physically fit, and comfortable working in home settings.
