Job Description
As a Plant Operations Manager, your role will involve overseeing the overall operations of the plant to achieve production goals and delivery schedules. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal utilization of machines, furnaces, tooling, and manpower to maximize efficiency.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning production schedules and resource allocation to manage the production process effectively
- Monitoring process parameters and productivity to reduce defects and increase yield
- Enforcing quality standards and working with quality teams to meet industry and customer specifications
- Implementing and ensuring compliance with safety protocols, environmental norms, and legal requirements
- Leading safety audits and promoting a culture of workplace safety
- Preparing and managing plant budgets, controlling operating costs, identifying cost-saving measures, and improving efficiency
- Leading managers, engineers, technicians, and operators to foster skill development, performance management, and teamwork
- Driving lean manufacturing process optimization and strategic enhancements, setting and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Collaborating with supply chain, sales, maintenance, and upper management for smooth operations and growth strategies
In addition to the key responsibilities mentioned above, the company also values continuous improvement and stakeholder coordination to ensure the success and growth of the plant.
This is a full-time permanent position with a competitive salary of up to $100,000.00 per month. The work location is in person.
