Junior Engineer - Solar Installation (1-2 Years Exp)

Location: Mumbai/Thane Region (Field-based)

Salary Range: INR 2.5 Lakhs – 3.6 Lakhs PA (Commensurate with experience)

Experience Required: 1 to 2 Years ONLY (Junior Level)

Requirement: Must own a personal two-wheeler and have a valid driving license.

Are you an energetic electrical engineer with 1 to 2 years of field experience who wants to grow fast in the solar industry? Do you love being on-site, managing workflows, and turning engineering layouts into real, functioning solar plants?

We are looking for a dedicated Junior Site Engineer (Site Incharge) to manage our daily on-site solar project execution. You will be the primary supervisor on the ground, ensuring our projects are built safely, on time, and up to our technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision: Coordinate daily on-site installation tasks and manage small site execution teams and labor to keep projects moving according to schedule.
• Material Counting & Management: Verify on-site material deliveries against the Bill of Materials (BOM) and delivery challans. Maintain neat and secure on-site storage to avoid shortages.
• On-Site Measurements: Take physical measurements on roofs or sites to estimate requirements for conduit pipes, DC/AC cabling, and basic Balance of System (BOS) materials.
• Drawings & DISCOM Coordination: Assist in updating Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and cable layouts based on actual site conditions. Assist the team in handling documentation for DISCOM net-metering approvals.
• Quality & Safety Supervision: Oversee the structural and electrical mounting of solar modules, structures, inverters, and earthing setups, ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed.
• Basic Testing Support: Conduct string testing, voltage checks, and basic pre-commissioning tests alongside our senior team to ready the plant for grid connection.
• Handover Documentation: Compile site photos, final measurements, and as-built notes for the final client handover.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical stream.
• Experience: Strictly 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience on-site executing solar rooftop.
• Core Skills: Ability to read basic SLDs and electrical drawings, understanding of solar components (BOS, inverters), and strong communication skills to handle labor on-site.
