Job Description

As a Certifying Mechanic CAT A, your main role will involve performing aircraft maintenance and defect rectification according to approved maintenance manuals. You will be responsible for certifying maintenance tasks within your authorization scope, conducting inspections, troubleshooting, and servicing during line maintenance operations. It will be crucial for you to ensure proper maintenance documentation before aircraft release and issue CRS after satisfactory completion of maintenance tasks. Your commitment to following safety procedures and quality standards during maintenance execution is essential to maintain operational integrity. Additionally, you will be expected to read and interpret technical manuals, procedures, and defect reports, as well as support technician activities as per operational requirements. Reporting technical defects, incidents, and discrepancies to reporting managers and coordinating with maintenance teams for smooth operational workflow will be key responsibilities. Maintaining compliance with aviation regulations and company procedures is a critical aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum 3-8 years of experience in aircraft maintenance or line maintenance environment
  • Experience in servicing, inspections, and defect troubleshooting preferred
  • AME License Cat A1 issued by DGCA (India)
  • Aircraft authorization on B737 NG / B737 MAX / A320
