Role Description

We are seeking a Principal Engineer for a full-time, on-site position based in Duncan, AZ. The Principal Engineer will lead technical initiatives, manage engineering projects, and support mining operations to improve efficiency, safety, and productivity.

Key responsibilities include designing and implementing engineering solutions, overseeing project execution, evaluating operational performance, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. This role plays a critical part in supporting operational performance and long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline, with proven experience in mining or heavy industrial environments
• In-depth knowledge of process optimization, risk assessment, and safety compliance within mining or similar operations
• Experience leading engineering teams and managing large-scale technical or operational projects
• Proficiency with engineering software, technical tools, and data analysis
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and leadership
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field required; professional certification preferred
• Experience supporting mining operations in the United States or international sites is a plus
