Job Description
You will be joining AAR Financial, a leading Canadian lending company, as a Loan Officer for their India branch. Your primary role will involve evaluating, processing, and recommending approval of personal and home equity loans for Canadian clients. You will also be responsible for advising customers on financial status, loan products, and repayment methods, as well as managing all aspects of loan application processing, data entry, document verification, and communication with clients. It will be essential for you to maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with Canadian lending standards, and provide exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, process, and recommend approval of personal and home equity loans for Canadian clients
- Advise customers on financial status, loan products, and repayment methods
- Manage all aspects of loan application processing, data entry, document verification, and communication with clients
- Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with Canadian lending standards, and provide top-notch customer service
- Work closely with the Canadian team to fulfill customer needs and ensure seamless cross-border loan servicing
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a loan officer in financial services or banking, preferably with international or Canadian lending exposure
- Strong knowledge of loan origination documentation and KYC requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work remotely or from the India branch office following Canadian business hours in Central or Eastern time zones
- High attention to detail, ability to manage multiple files, and meet deadlines
