Position: 2026 Agronomy Assistant Internship Program

Location: Fort MacKay

During the internship from May to August 2026, you will work closely with agronomists at a retail location. Engage in essential tasks like crop scouting and data collection while gaining insights into fertilizer and pesticide recommendations.

Your role will also involve planning field days and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support agronomists with soil sampling and data collection
• Analyze data to recommend effective crop inputs
• Coordinate field days and grower meetings successfully
• Build strong relationships with growers
• Adhere to Nutrien Ag Solutions safety standards

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Agriculture or a related field
• Graduation date must be December 2026 or later
• Must have a valid Canadian driver's license
