Addiction Support Worker

Become a vital part of the Metis Addictions Council of Saskatchewan Inc. as a Weekend Addiction Support Worker. This part-time role in Prince Albert focuses on client supervision and care.

In this role, you'll work on weekends, ensuring clients' physical and emotional needs are addressed. You'll implement treatment plans as directed by Addictions Counsellors and oversee general household responsibilities of the clients. Your duties will also include providing initial crisis intervention and maintaining essential client records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support clients daily
• Assist in implementing treatment protocols
• Transport clients for programming and appointments
• Lead guided therapy sessions as per treatment plans
• Ensure clean and well-maintained environment

Requirements

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
• 7-11 months of experience in addiction support
• First Aid/CPR and Food Handling certifications
• Criminal record and vulnerable sector checks
• Clean driver's abstract
