We are looking for an experienced Dispatch Manager to manage and oversee the dispatch operations in our furniture manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of finished goods, proper coordination with production and logistics teams, and maintaining accurate dispatch records.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage daily dispatch schedules based on production and orders
- Coordinate with production, sales, and warehouse teams
- Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of finished furniture items
- Verify quantity, quality, and specifications before dispatch
- Arrange transportation and coordinate with drivers and transporters
- Prepare invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, and packing lists
- Ensure proper packing and safe loading of materials
- Maintain dispatch records and stock movement
- Supervise dispatch staff and ensure smooth operations
- Handle delivery delays, damages, and customer concerns
- Prepare daily and weekly dispatch reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in any field
- 3–7 years of experience in dispatch/logistics (manufacturing or furniture industry preferred)
- Knowledge of logistics, transportation, and dispatch processes
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, ERP systems)
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage teams and meet deadlines
