Job Description
We are looking for a Compensation Professional to provide strategic solutions and expert advice to the business and HR business advisors at our client; combining in-depth knowledge of compensation principles, understanding of the business needs, market and regulatory landscape, and associated detailed analysis/models.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the annual compensation planning processes (both mid-year and year-end), including building tools, performing analysis and reporting to determine compensation funding, allocation and spend, and working with Finance and HR business advisors.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of business issues and priorities; effectively analyze and diagnose issues; provide clear advice and recommendations to help partners make informed and sound comp-related decisions.
- Support and advise on compensation related activities, including new hire offers, promotions, transfers, budget allocation/forecasting and top talent retention.
- Consulting with HR Business Advisors, Recruiting and Senior Managers to create competitive offer packages for key strategic hires
- Review and approval of offer packages to ensure competitiveness and compliance with corporate governance guidelines
- Participate in compensation surveys; independent analysis of internal and external benchmarking data to support business’ rationale
Desired Qualifications
- 6+ years of compensation or total rewards experience with strong exposure to annual compensation cycles, including market benchmarking, salary range analysis, and market pricing
- Proven ability to translate complex compensation data into clear, actionable insights and business storytelling for stakeholders
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and data storytelling skills
- Banking or financial services experience strongly preferred
