About Atlas Academy
Atlas Academy is a private tech education company dedicated to bringing creative and technical skills to young learners through hands-on programs. This summer, we're looking for a passionate Animation Instructor to design and lead engaging camp experiences in 3D animation and help shape what that curriculum looks like for years to come.
Role Overview
This role is responsible for executing on-the-ground outreach to promote Atlas Academy workshops. You will distribute materials, engage with local businesses and community spaces, and directly contribute to student registrations and event attendance.
This is a performance-driven role with clear output expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Distribute flyers across assigned neighborhoods (cafes, libraries, community centers, schools, etc.)
- Secure permission to place flyers in high-visibility locations
- Track all outreach activity (locations, timestamps, coverage)
- Capture proof of work (photos of placements)
- Support follow-up efforts to increase event attendance (optional: messaging or check-ins)
- Provide weekly reporting on outreach coverage and activity
Compensation
- Performance-based compensation tied to results
- Earn $25 per verified attendee (must attend the workshop in person)
Minimum Earnings Guarantee:
Compensation will be adjusted as needed to ensure compliance with minimum wage laws based on hours worked.
Expected Commitment
- ~8–12 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling (weekday + weekend distribution)
- Project duration: ~4 weeks leading up to event date
- Extension projects/part-time employment options available upon successful completion.
