Job Description
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor construction site work to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, technical requirements, and applicable standards
- Ensure adherence to schedules, work methods, and quality requirements
- Act as the on-site liaison between ATIS Énergie, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
- Participate in site meetings and ensure required follow-ups
- Conduct inspections, identify non-conformities, and follow up on corrective actions
- Document work progress (daily reports, photos, observations)
- Collaborate with design and project management teams to resolve technical issues encountered in the field
- Ensure compliance with health and safety rules on job sites
- Participate, as needed, in equipment commissioning and final inspections
- Contribute to as-built surveys and administrative project closeout
Profile
- College diploma (DEC) in mechanical engineering, building engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience in construction site supervision, ideally in industrial settings or mechanical/energy projects
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical plans and specifications
- Rigour, attention to detail, and commitment to quality
- Autonomy, sound judgment, and ability to make decisions in the field
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment
CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Availability for frequent travel and stays at client sites
- Variable schedule based on site needs (occasionally outside regular hours)
- Valid driver's license
- Health and safety training for construction sites (ASP Construction)
- Comfortable working in a French-speaking environment with a good understanding of English
