Job Description

ASRC Federal is seeking Senior DevSecOps Automation Engineers to design, enhance, and sustain CI/CD automation across the DSOP ecosystem. This role focuses on pipeline engineering, automated security integration, and improving deployment velocity and reliability for Army mission systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for DSOP applications and services
  • Integrate automated testing, security scanning, and compliance checks
  • Build infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab/GitHub Actions
  • Support containerization, image hardening, and pipeline governance
  • Troubleshoot CI/CD workflow issues and optimize build/test processes
  • Implement best practices for automated deployments within secure DoD environments
  • Partner with software developers, infrastructure engineers, and security teams
  • Enhance deployment reliability using observability, monitoring, and automation tooling

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Must have active SECRET DoD Secret security clearance
  • 8–12 years of DevSecOps, automation engineering, or platform engineering experience
  • Strong understanding of GitOps, CI/CD, and containerized deployment models
  • Expertise with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, and pipeline tools
  • Experience integrating automated security controls in regulated or DoD environments preferred
  • Strong scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering, engineering or other technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
