Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Chairside Dental Lab Technician to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will work closely with dentists and patients to provide exceptional chairside assistance during restorative procedures, ensuring seamless integration between clinical and laboratory work.

You will travel to partner clinics to perform intraoral and photogrammetry scans for full‑arch and complex cases, ensure high‑quality digital records, and support doctors chairside in collaboration with Artisan Lab USA’s digital team.

Core responsibilities

  • Set up, calibrate, and operate intraoral scanner(s) and photogrammetry equipment at clinic.
  • Capture full‑arch, quadrant, bite, and implant scans according to provided protocols.
  • Verify scan quality chairside and rescan where needed.
  • Upload and organize scan data, communicate with your lab’s CAD team in real time if necessary (screenshare, photos, etc.).
  • Provide basic in‑office training to doctors and staff on scanning paths and common errors.

Experience

Required:

  • Prior dental clinical or lab experience, strong comfort with computers, a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, ability to stand and move around the operatory.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with dental professionals and educate patients when necessary
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry

Preferred

  • Experience with intraoral scanners and/or photogrammetry systems, implants, and full‑arch case exposure.
  • Experience using EMR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for managing medical records and documentation
  • Prior laboratory experience in creating crowns, bridges, dentures, or other prosthetic devices is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with dental fabrication processes, including working with CAD/CAM technology for designing restorations
  • Ability to perform detailed measurements using micrometers and other precision tools
  • Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures in a healthcare environment

You will be part of a modern full‑arch, digital lab workflow and get advanced training in photogrammetry, virtual articulators, and digital full‑arch protocols.
