Title: Senior Angular Front-End Engineer
Location: Toronto , Ontario
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Range: C$53 INC
Introduction
We are seeking a skilled and experienced developer to join our team in Toronto. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in front-end architecture and a passion for creating high-quality, accessible, and performant web applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7-10 years of professional software development experience
- 5 years of experience building production Angular applications
- Expertise in Angular and TypeScript, including components, modules, routing, and forms
- Strong knowledge of RxJS and NgRx (or equivalent state management)
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, responsive design, and UI performance optimizations
- Experience integrating with REST/GraphQL APIs
- Testing proficiency with Jasmine/Karma or Jest, and Cypress/Playwright for end-to-end testing
- Experience with CI/CD for front-end development
- Strong security fundamentals for front-end development
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with design systems such as Storybook, theming, and micro frontends/module federation
- Familiarity with performance tooling such as Lighthouse
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of modular, maintainable Angular applications
- Define and enforce UI architecture patterns
- Build robust reactive UIs with RxJS and NgRx
- Implement REST/GraphQL integrations and data caching strategies
- Ensure accessibility compliance and optimize performance
- Establish testing strategies and maintain high-quality code reviews
- Implement secure front-end practices and collaborate on observability
- Mentor developers and lead design reviews
- Work cross-functionally with various teams to deliver measurable outcomes
