Job Description
Job Title: Senior AWS Cloud Backend Engineer
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Duration: 06 Months
Exp Required: 6-8 years
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in web service development on AWS.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture using SNS, SQS, or EventBridge.
- Experience with Git, CICD tools, and automated testing frameworks.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Experience with AWS SAM or the Serverless Framework.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Experience with monitoring and optimizing application performance using observability tools.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design and develop RESTful APIs using AWS services such as Lambda and API Gateway.
- Build serverless applications and implement authentication and authorization using enterprise APIs.
- Develop and maintain CICD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and data protection standards.
