As a Manager Purchase & Supply Chain Management at Arnold Consulting Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in leading and transforming the Purchase & SCM function for a growing, multi-location healthcare provider. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading purchase, stores, and SCM operations across locations
- Driving sourcing, vendor evaluation, negotiation, and commercial closure
- Standardizing vendor contracts and rate agreements
- Establishing reorder levels, stock norms, and replenishment planning
- Monitoring inventory ageing, non-moving and expiry-risk stock
- Implementing controls across indents, POs, approvals, and GRN processes
- Coordinating with pharmacy for procurement planning and optimization
- Working with finance and operations on compliance and reporting
- Building MIS dashboards on cost, inventory, savings, and vendor performance
- Leading and developing the team with strong accountability
Your core competencies should include strong hospital procurement and commercial acumen, hands-on inventory and stores management, vendor development and negotiation skills, SOP and process design capability, data-driven decision-making, strong execution mindset, team leadership, and cross-functional coordination.
- *Qualifications Required:**
- MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, Materials Management, or Hospital Administration preferred
- *Candidate Profile:**
- 810+ years of experience
- Minimum 5 years in hospital / healthcare SCM
- Experience in hospital chains or large institutions preferred
- Exposure to 300+ bed hospitals desirable
- Multi-location experience preferred
- NABH exposure is an advantage
- Strong team management and process improvement track record
