Position Overview

Arlington Baptist School is seeking qualified and motivated Middle School and High School English and Math Teachers who are passionate about Christian education and committed to helping students succeed academically and spiritually.

The ideal candidate will create engaging lesson plans, maintain a positive classroom environment, and encourage students to develop critical thinking and strong academic habits.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach middle and/or high school English or Math courses
• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
• Integrate biblical principles into classroom instruction
• Assess student progress and provide academic support when needed
• Maintain classroom discipline and encourage student accountability
• Communicate effectively with parents, faculty, and administration
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and ministry opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related subject area preferred
• Previous teaching experience preferred
• Strong understanding of English and/or Math curriculum
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to Christian education and biblical values
