Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Reno or Las Vegas Metropolitan Area for a Director of Public Relations and Marketing. The Director will lead public relations and marketing strategies, including overseeing public relations campaigns, crafting strategic communication plans, managing media relationships and working with the team to come up with ideas and executions that will help our clients achieve their lofty goals. Responsibilities also include driving brand visibility, coordinating with internal teams to align messaging, and representing the organization in media and public forums. The Director will need to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously while collaborating effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Expertise in public relations, including media relations and strategic plan development
• Strong background in communication and strategic communications
• Proven ability to develop, manage, and execute public relations strategies
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience with crisis communication and managing high-stakes situations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in developing and executing marketing campaigns is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field is preferred
• Prior professional experience leading public relations or marketing initiatives
