Role Description The Design Director Architecture will lead the architectural design vision, oversee project execution, and guide cross-functional teams from concept through completion. This full-time, on-site role in New Delhi involves collaborating with clients to understand project goals, translating them into design strategies, and ensuring high-quality deliverables that align with functional, aesthetic, and regulatory standards. The Design Director will review and approve design proposals, coordinate with consultants and internal discipline leads, and monitor project schedules and budgets. The role includes mentoring and developing team members, establishing best practices, and driving innovation in design processes, tools, and workflows. The Design Director will also contribute to business development efforts by supporting pitches, presentations, and design narratives for new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Architecture with experience leading complex design projects from concept to delivery.
• Proficiency in Enterprise Architecture and Data Modeling to align design frameworks with organizational and project-level goals.
• Demonstrated Team Leadership skills, including mentoring, performance management, and fostering a collaborative studio culture.
• Proven Project Management capabilities, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and budget oversight.
• Advanced proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, BIM platforms, visualization software).
• Thorough knowledge of building codes, standards, sustainability principles, and local regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for client interactions, stakeholder coordination, and design reviews.
• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution; professional licensure or registration is an advantage.
• Prior experience in a design leadership role within an architectural or multidisciplinary design firm, ideally with exposure to diverse project types.
