Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As the Associate Accountant you will ensure accuracy of financial ledgers and timely preparation of financial statements. You will provide accounting expertise, guidance, and oversight to Arc’teryx teams across North America in support of day-to-day operations.
Meet Your Future Team:
The Arc’teryx Finance team supports all parts of the business with operational finance needs, resource deployment, planning, reporting, and strategic decision making. The Finance team ensures governance and protection of the company’s assets and advises leadership on key investment decisions and performance improvement.
If you were the Associate Accountant now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Performing period end close accounting procedures in a timely manner
- Preparing monthly accruals and provisions needed to ensure the accuracy of period end financial statements
- Reconciling General Ledger accounts and preparing correction journal entries as required
- Providing working papers and supporting information during internal and external audit engagements
- Providing general accounting support to Arc’teryx teams across North America
- Ensuring completeness and accuracy of indirect spend through analyzing AP accruals and Ariba POs
- Reviewing intercompany recharges and supporting backup
- Supporting with the administration of expense and travel management systems
- Providing accounting support for bank reconciliations

- Managing the period close process and financial statements preparation for multiple entities
- Updating company-wide policies for new accounting processes and controls
Are you our next Associate Accountant?
- You have 3+ years proven experience in an Accounting or equivalent role
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or an equivalent field; A professional accounting designation or progress toward accounting designation is preferred
- You have experience within an international brand operating across multiple entities
- You have experience within a Retail/D2C organization
- You have exceptional attention to detail
- You have advanced analytical skills with a strong aptitude for MS Excel, and experience with an ERP (SAP deemed an asset)
- You can prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can collaborate with individuals across departments, organizations, and countries
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You can balance autonomy and collaboration
- You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
- You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment
Compensation
The salary range for this role is CAD$62,000–CAD$81,000
Total Rewards

This range reflects market alignment and the scope of the role. Individual pay is determined by your skills, experience, and level of responsibility.
