Computer Support Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Computer Hardware & Networking Engineer to join our team. This is a field-based role requiring travel to client locations for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
• Set up and troubleshoot network systems (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, Wi-Fi)
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on-site
• Perform regular system upgrades, repairs, and preventive maintenance
• Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and essential software
• Manage cabling, structured networking, and rack setup
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients
• Maintain service reports and documentation for each job
• Ensure timely completion of assigned field tasks

Requirements

• Proven experience in computer hardware and networking
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and wireless networking
• Familiarity with Windows OS installation and troubleshooting
• Ability to diagnose and repair hardware issues
• Basic knowledge of CCTV installation and configuration (preferred)
• Good communication and customer handling skills
• Ability to travel to client locations as required
• Valid driver’s license (preferred)

Education & Experience:

• Diploma / Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 1–3 years of relevant experience (freshers with strong skills may apply)
