Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Computer Hardware & Networking Engineer to join our team. This is a field-based role requiring travel to client locations for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Set up and troubleshoot network systems (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, Wi-Fi)
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on-site
- Perform regular system upgrades, repairs, and preventive maintenance
- Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and essential software
- Manage cabling, structured networking, and rack setup
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients
- Maintain service reports and documentation for each job
- Ensure timely completion of assigned field tasks
Requirements
- Proven experience in computer hardware and networking
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and wireless networking
- Familiarity with Windows OS installation and troubleshooting
- Ability to diagnose and repair hardware issues
- Basic knowledge of CCTV installation and configuration (preferred)
- Good communication and customer handling skills
- Ability to travel to client locations as required
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
Education & Experience:
- Diploma / Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 1–3 years of relevant experience (freshers with strong skills may apply)
