Food Service Team Member

Job Description

The Food Service Team Member works alongside the event operations team to ensure smooth execution of catering orders and events. Responsibilities include setting up events, transporting food, equipment, and supplies, serving guests, and cleaning up after events conclude.

Job Responsibilities:

• Event Setup: Prepare catering and event areas according to client specifications and banquet orders.
• Transport and Deliver: Safely transport food, beverages, and necessary equipment to event locations.
• Event Space Organization: Arrange tables, chairs, buffet lines, and other required materials according to event plans.
• Maintain food and beverage availability throughout events.
• Ensure food service areas are clean, organized, and meet sanitation standards.
• Clean up and dismantle event setups after service concludes.
• Provide excellent customer service to all event guests.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Experience:
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Previous catering experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comply with designated uniform and dress requirements.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as required for events.
• Completion of Food Handling and Alcohol Service training is mandatory.

Physical Demands:

• Perform physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for extended periods.
• Adhere to uniform policies and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed.

Education

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
