Job Overview:
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with 4+ years of experience and strong expertise in Selenium using Java or Python. The candidate should have hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks and ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium (Java/Python)
- Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications
- Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements
- Identify, log, and track defects effectively
- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Improve test coverage and optimize execution time
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
- Proficiency in Java or Python
- Experience in test automation frameworks (POM, TestNG, PyTest, etc.)
- Solid understanding of STLC, SDLC, and testing methodologies
- Experience in API testing (Postman / REST Assured)
- Familiarity with Git and version control tools
- Experience with CI/CD tools
- Basic knowledge of SQL / database testing
Good to Have:
- Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, etc.)
- Exposure to tools like Playwright or Cypress
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Basic understanding of performance testing tools
