Position Summary

Applewood Auto Group is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Graphic Designer specializing in multimedia, interactive, and new media design. This role will be responsible for developing high-impact visual content across digital, social, and marketing platforms. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller with advanced technical design skills and a passion for motion, video, and brand-driven creative work.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-quality multimedia content for digital, social media, web, and marketing campaigns
• Create motion graphics and animated content for advertising, promotions, and internal communications
• Edit and produce professional video content across multiple platforms
• Develop and maintain cohesive brand identity standards across all creative outputs
• Collaborate with marketing, communications, and leadership teams to execute creative initiatives
• Design engaging interactive and new media assets for digital engagement
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and emerging design technologies

Required Qualifications

• 8–10 years of professional experience in graphic design, multimedia design, interactive media, or new media
• Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Arts, Interactive Media, or related field
• Strong portfolio demonstrating motion graphics, video editing, branding, and multimedia design work
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
• Strong understanding of typography, composition, color theory, and visual storytelling
• Experience designing for multiple digital platforms and formats
• Excellent time management, communication, and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Mandarin language proficiency is preferred
• Experience with interactive media, digital campaigns, or emerging media technologies
