$19.00/hour

7am to 3pm Monday to Friday

Job Overview

We are currently hiring Quality Control Inspectors to support a busy production environment in Barrie. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting sewn filter bags to ensure they meet quality and specification standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect completed filter bags to ensure they meet quality standards
• Read and interpret specification sheets accurately
• Stack and organize filter bags on folding tables
• Inspect cell plates to ensure proper fit and correct usage
• Repair returned filter bags according to specifications
• Complete quality control documentation and reports

Prepare shipping materials and label orders as required

• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate quality issues to the Production Supervisor
• Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent

Experience & Knowledge:

• 6 months–1 year of sewing experience (preferred)
• 6 months–1 year of experience reading specification sheets
• Experience in quality control or manufacturing is an asset

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequent bending, lifting, and handling materials
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. independently
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Working Conditions

Manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels

Exposure to varying temperatures (limited climate control)

Fast-paced production setting
